Quick question. You hear a lot of times that Harley won’t cover a warranty problem or further more don’t know how to fix it. You hear it all the time, warranty denied so with the m8 everyone is worrying about getting there warranty voided for adding this or that but why should it matter if the moco won’t honor any warranty work. Mite just as well mod away and enjoy the ride.

Read the entire post, didn’t see a question mark.... ‘why should it matter if moco wont honour any warranty work”? Is that the question? Well they will if haven’t voided your warranty so I don’t get it....

According to threads here mostly the warranty was honored unless the terms were violated. So far very few here have had this issue, but most seem to have had their warranty honored with motors replaced...sometimes multiple times. There are many aspects to whether it’s “fixed” or not, but I’d still rather not have to replace the motor on my dime. Personally I’m satisfied with my warranty friendly mods. If I wasn’t, I’d be tempted to roll the dice. Luckily just not a problem I have currently.

Yeah this thread doesn't make sense. I have yet to hear of HD failing to honor a warranty claim when the owner hasn't violated the warranty policy. Just because one person is having remorse about losing their warranty doesn't justify dragging everyone else into that hole.
