Default Renting or rented bike on riders share app?

I'm thinking about renting out one of my bikes, an ultra limited, on www.riders-share.com

Has anyone had any experience renting bikes there, or even better have you rented yours out there?

Wondering if that app is a good experience for most?

Thoughts?

There's another one called twistedroad.com. Mind if I add it to the request? Compare/contrast?

No direct bad experience. But one adage I live by is “people don’t wash rental cars”.
They beat the crap out of them, no skin in the game. Don’t get me started about liability if they drop it, hit or kill someone . . .

I've never done it either but I cant see how it'd be a good idea. I've seen how people drive rental cars...and aside from worrying about how people are treating/damaging your bike, have you considered what you'd be exposing yourself to from a liability standpoint?

The company liability insures for $1,000,000 and insures your bike. I'm not sure I understand your concerns?

I think his concern is that there could be damage/wear that isn't immediately apparent until later down the road.Likely after nobody is covering it for a million dollars, except you.

"You know the difference between a 4X4 and a rental car? A rental car will go anywhere". You get the picture.

I was on the BRP when a guy pulled in, hit the frame on a curb going fast enough to scare the crap out of me, he didn’t flinch or even check for a leak. Asked directions and drove off.
