Default Small lockable storage for bike

Hi all....

I am looking for a small, semi-covert storage/lock box for the bike. I have a road king classic and looking for something to put registration and insurance where someone wouldn't simply walk off with it. I found a small like license plate size lock box that goes behind the licence plate. That is the best thing I've found so far.

Anyone have anything else/better?

Tuck your registration/insurance paperwork inside the lining of your helmet. That way, you'll always have it with you.

Or better yet keep it in your wallet, that's where mine is.

There are a number of different stash tubes that can mount on your frame or license plate bracket that would work to keep your reg/ins docs. I'm not seeing locks with them though. Best bet probably is the license plate lock box that you mentioned. The other way to go might be a lock box that could adhere to inside of saddlebag.

If it is too much paper for your wallet..
What about just sealing in plastic and placing between license plate and backing plate.
Then put one of those coin like screw drivers on key ring to unscrew plate.
but, if you have a road king classic then just place folder papers in an Ultra Pro 3 X 4 Top Loader Card Holder for Baseball, Football, Basketball Sports Cards and toss it in the saddlebag.

another win for locking hardbags. I keep the reg in my wallet and my state doesn't require ins.

In MN, we never needed to have "registration" papers, just a small insurance card. Now in Nevada, we have to have both on us and it's just too much to stuff registration in my wallet.

I think I'll either do it behind the license plate or in my helmet. I just don't want it sitting in a bag for someone to walk off with.....not that they couldn't walk off with anything else!

And I have locking bags on my 2015, but the classic, is well, a classic

Fabricate a 1 1/2" diameter tube out of black plastic drain pipe, screw cap on one end, solid cap on the other, use radiator hose clamps to secure it to the frame in a hidden area. Tough, waterproof, discreet and best of all cheap. If anyone asks what it is, tell them it is a pipe bomb.

On softtail put the old style metal tool box... I have them on both sides. Got them before hard bags to lock gun in when needed...

It's called a wallet and also gives you the excuse to ask the cop to get the flashlight out of yours eyes and point it where you can see what your doing. Never leave your papers on the bike, somebody rides off on it with the paperwork you got no leg to stand on reporting it stolen they will look at you like an idiot.
