Default Good quality shocks that are not $$$$$

I have a 2003 FLHTPI that is basically an ultra now. The OEM shocks are leaking oil and I'm looking at replacing them. I want something that is good quality but not a ton of money. Surely someone makes a good quality product that does not cost an arm and leg. Yeah, I know, this subject probably has been discussed to no end but this is a discussion group so........ Thanks.

I have my original, adjustable rear shocks from my 2015 Streetglide Special, if you care to make an offer. They had about 10,000 miles on them, when I changed them out for Ohlins.

Check out the Twin Adjustable Bitubos.

Here's a chart from testing we did-

You can see that the Bitubos give more improvement in ride quality over other brands.

Here's a LINK to the full testing report we did.

Here's a LINK to the Bitubos.

Hope this helps!

I only have experience with SuperShox that replaced the stock rears on my 2015, but can tell you that they were a huge improvement, and I feel like they were the best value I could find. They’re easy to adjust, excellent warrantee, Made in USA.

I was looking hard at Supershox, ended up with the Bitubo twin adjustables from DK. Just installed, but cannot ride for a couple months up here.

dawg: REALLY looking forward to your review once things thaw out and you're able to ride. These shocks intrigue me after jumping on the DK website and taking a peak.
