Default Bending metal fuel line. HELP!

Hi chaps
I need to bend the metal pipe slightly more into U shape to make the connection work without tanking in to the stealer. What would be the correct method?

Use a tubing bender. That's a sharp bend though. If your first attempt kinks it, fill it with sand before trying again.

I'm not sure about the "correct way",,,But I would put a slightly smaller socket in the radius then sqeeze the two ends together with channel locks or a vise using a rag or soft wood to protect the fittings. Remove o-ring first. Fittings might be too close to radius for a tubing bender. Just my 2cent

I would try to find a pulley that fits the inside radius, then clamp the tube into the pulley and say a prayer or two and go for it.

I like the pulley idea, maybe a plastic one since it would need to be cut out afterwards, but should make a nice bend.

This is what I would do. Nail, bolt of weld the socket to a flat suffice, then put the fuel line down around the socket, then put a nail or bolt right behind the center of the fuel line to keep it from backing off the socket while you are bending the line. I would use a C-clamp so that you don't wind up bending too fast and kinking the line. This comes from my years of metal fabrication in a welding shop. The main thing to remember is Do Not Get In a Hurry.

That's stainless steel. You can't. It will crimp as soon as you try.

As well, that’s the sample he is showing...not the one he’s going to bend.

Edit: oh never mind...I re- read the ops post. He does want to bend the one in his hand more. That’s gonna be really tight...

It was bent prior to being cut. Not hard to do with the proper tools, very difficult without them. It can be done, but done properly requires a jig and heat and experience.
