Has anybody used these forward controls, or now of anybody they has. I love the look of them, just a little pricey.

 

Pricey? Your first Harley? Besides, that's Harley's middle name.

 

Yes, my first Harley!! It's not about the money, more about spending it wisely. $900-$1000 Forward controls vs $300-$400 is it just the name or more.

 

I've had a lot of chrome in my life. HD is the best I've ever seen. Buy once, cry once.

The PM brand are nice for sure, but...........

 

Never had either but you get what you pay for.

 

I used the harley kit on my 13 Fatboy. After you buy the kit, pegs, brake pedal and shifter peg, you probably be a little over half of what the PM kit cost.

 

I've had the PM's on one of my bikes, and put another set on a customers. They are really beautifully made, very custom, and of highest quality. That said, if you are planning to go very custom, high end all around, those are the ones you want. Everything is hidden, and they are eyecatching. There are others out there that do the same thing, for less. And in my experience, once you buy something like this, you realize that there are a bunch of other things that need to be high end improved, and the result, while stunning, is very expensive. I had PM forward controls similar to the ones in your pic on my FXR, they are nice but as you say pricey. But you tend to get what you pay for.
