Default Did you add chrome controls? Chrome Exchange

I am thinking that since I need to flush my brake fluid I might as well replace the stock front master cylinder and clutch perch with chrome. Guy on ebay charges 139 plus 18 for shipping for chrome exchange. So your paying 139 plus 18 for shipping, plus shipping to send your cores in and then your out your cores. Does this sound like a good deal or am I better off just buying an aftermarket master and clutch? 2011 flhrc. Took a look a J&P and just a general search but thought I would ask you guys.

Thanks!

Not sure who you might be looking at on ebay, but may also want to check http://excaliberpolishing.com/index.html and http://www.willyshiny.com/

I believe both offer advance exchange program and a two year warranty, though I don't personally have any experience with quality of their work--yet. Planning to have final drive pulley chromed by one or the other.

I just went with Willyshiny and his reputation precedes him. Got the fork lowers and paid just over $200.00 which included return shipping. Unless the eBay person has a long history of nearly 100% feedback this is a no brainer.

If the e-bay seller is Superior Chrome I will vouch for their exchange program. I Did the lower forks on my RK and then sent them my clutch and brake lever to be redone as the after market ones I got from Drag Specialties kept flaking . Drag kept replacing them no charge but I was getting tired of spending my labor and time.

I just went ahead and picked up OEM for a good deal. But I will say....I thought about the fact that the chrome would likely be much better with the exchange. In fact, even the pictures on eBay the chrome looked great. Mrconr is the eBay seller.

I've had very good luck so far with HD chrome accessories incl levers, switch housings, etc I had put on when I bought bike--seems like decent stuff.
