Default Turn Signals Quit - and the back story......

1994 Fatboy. Recently, while I was waiting for the new speedometer cable to arrive, I still rode the bike. During this period without the speedo cable, my turn signals stopped auto-cancelling; I would have to remember to cancel them manually. Once I replaced the speedo cable, the auto-cancelling resumed.

Today, the left signal stopped working. A little while later, they both stopped. So now I have no working turn signals. All other electrical seems fine.

So what does this sound like to you? The flasher module? A fuse?

I didn't mind riding without the speedo working, but turn signals are a whole different matter.

Sounds like the Turn Signal Module has failed. I had the same symptoms when mine died.

First check the bulbs.
Then check if you have any aftermarket modules in the system.
Last check your turn signal module (IIRC there is a test procedure in the manual for this)

The bulbs are fine, or at least they were when it was all working. I'm thinking it's the module because it's been flaky for a while.

I'll do the tests in a bit.

Your turn signals are on the same circuit as the horn, stoplight and speedometer lamp, so check to see if they’re working. No? Then the accessory circuit breaker is out. If the other items work then it’s likely the turn signal module.

I just hit the horn and it's fine.

The manual TELLS me where the flasher module is located, but does anyone have a video or more detailed instructions on getting to it?

Okay, I removed the instrument panel bracket. My camera sucks, but can someone please tell me if this if my turn signal module, with the big bolt through it. Or if not, where is it?
