Hi ---Should this be a concern, the bike looks amazing and I'm going to take a look at it in person tomorrow.

If you buy it you should do the following
Replace tires even if they look good
Replace wheel bearings
Replace gas
Change all fluids
Depending on the year and model of the bike have the cam tensioners changed or at least checked

Bike sitting on the tires for 2 years and not moving is good enough reason for me to replace them
Same with the wheel bearings
Both are cheap insurance against your life

Two years is nothing. If it checks out, go for it.

I would presume that it will have, or you will provide, a hot battery and some fresh gas. Might check the oil before cranking. I wouldn't care how good it looks, a bike that won't start is going to be mighty cheap. Just my $0.02...

I know where there's a '05 Heritage for sale with 8800 miles on it. I don't think it's ever even been dirty. We call the guy selling it 10-mile Tommy.

I bought an ‘03 in ‘11, with 2090 miles. It was a trade in, I don’t know how long it sat. Changed fluids and tires, good to go. At 30k I had some base weeping so I had that fixed, and the SE Cam Chain Tensioner and Oil Pump upgrade. I have 43k now, no problems.
