Default Radio issues 2007 Ultra Classic

I have been having issues with my stock radio on my 2007 Ultra Classic cutting in and out. It is very wierd as in when I am riding with two hands on the handle bars no matter if it is the Radio mode or CD mode it will cut out. When I take one hand off the bars it comes back(most of time) this is not all the time and it doesn't matter if I have gloves on or nor not or what hand I take off.
The latest issue now is when I hit the high beam switch or leave the left blinker on till it shuts off the radio will cut out for a slot second.
I have the Paul Yaffe 12" Monkey bars on and the wires run through them.
I did have the neck bearing tightened last service.
Anybody have an idea before I take it to the mechanic?

The radio is toast brother. You have one or two options.

1. Send it to Iron Cross Audio for repair
2. Go aftermarket

Very common problem on the HK radio, the vibration eventually gets all of them. Like Gann said if you wish to keep stock head unit Iron Cross is your best bet, Or if you choose the aftermarket has alot more options to be had.

I've probably replaced 20 of them with the same issue.Including my 2007 Ultra. I could always be wrong though. As FM said. It's a common issue with the stock radio,
