Aside from ordering directly from Carlini, is there anywhere else to order Carlini's from that discount them?

When I was looking for my Carlinis, I was not able to find anywhere else to buy, other than used. I ended up buying a set of blems instead. I’ll be damned if I can find that blemish anywhere! Saved a decent chunk of change too.

Default Carlini buyer beware

I recently bought a pair of14* bars directly from Carlini. The bars were not balanced and it took over 10 days to convince them exchange them.
They told me they had trouble locating a pair of 14" bars, and I would need to wait. Then miraculously the next day my shipment was sent and the bars were balanced.
I took them to my installer and when I arrived to pick the bike up I realized that the bars were too long and they were actually 16* that Carlini sent me to replace the 14*s.
I believe they hoped I wouldn't check the height of the bars when they arrived and they were correct, the same way I dont measure a pair of shoes or a pair of jean's to make sure it is says what it says on the label.
I would advise that you seriously consider dealing with carlini. There are forums going back to 2011, 2014, and 2015 discussing problems with Carlini service.
The bars are good, but not what I wanted. Double check everything as Carlini are not to be trusted.
Maybe Carlini should consider local vendors to deal with their customer service issues.
Good luck.

Thanks for the detailed response. What does not balanced mean - one side taller than the other? I have their 14" Flying apes, which actually measure 16", but have never installed them. The bends at the top looked flattened but i thought maybe thats just the way Carlini does their bends?

Hi Desert Wolf,
Not balanced means that one side of the handle while was further back than the other.
This became apparent when you liaid the bars down on a flat surface facing toward you as if riding only 3 corners touched the surface and wobbled., the fourth corner was re aided approximately 3/8 of an inch.

I bought from the factory and had good service. Bars were the 14" gangsters and they were perfect. Shipping was fast. Typically all their bars are taller than what the web site says. They do have a picture that shows measurements.

Hey,
It seems to be a theme that everyone on this thread has taller bars than advertised.

a few years ago when I bought the Carlini's they would tell you that the bars are 2" taller than listed. 14's actually measured 16".

When I bought my bars, I went to their office in Santa Ana and bought directly from them.
