Default 55 vs 70

Lately I have found I enjoy the 55 mph highways over the 70 mph interstates. Never used to be that way. Still don’t mind 70+ but lately enjoying the more relaxed feeling and better views from the 55 mph limit roads. Anybody else feel this way?

I’ve always felt that way. Rather be on the nice twisty roads than a super slab

My sentiments precisley. Although that may be due to the fact that my '94 883 (now 1275) is not exactly comfy on the interstate. County road "C" from Stratford to Dancy, WI is one of my favorite local roads.

Absolutely!
We go out of our way to avoid freeways; more enjoyable people and places to explore on 2 lane roads.
Freeways were intended as vehicle conveyor belts...

That is a Harlie rider's worst dream come true when "cruising" on the Autobahn. For the Harlie rider it means get your wobbly hiney over in the right hand lane and stay there 'cause all speed limits are now canceled and things are now gonna get exciting in the left lane.

here in the states, I prefer a nicely paced piece of asphalt that isn't arrow straight for miles. I'll take the interstate to get where I'm going quickly, but prefer a more entertaining road
