Wrecked switchback
So my brother wrecked my moms switchback, since I sold my Police Glide, she gave it to me to fix. My question is:
Is the FLD’s triple tree the same as any other tree? (Stops are broke)
I also need a front fender but I think they are unique?
anyone know of a decent kit to ditch the floorboards and put more forward extensions on?
Its incredibly hard to find stuff for an FLD... I’ve looked for days and am getting frustrated
Harley quoted a 13k fix it ticket and that’s just insane. So I’m gonna try and minimalistically customize it

Hopefully your brother is ok, and your mom hasn't killed him for wrecking her bike.
I believe, but don't know, that the triples trees from a Slim will work, as will the actual forks and fender. The FLD uses 41mm forks, one side (I think the right side) has a damper rod, and the other has a crude cartridge. Check out the Switchback Owner's Group. You might be able to source some parts from there.
Tis a shame. That Brilliant Silver is one of my fav' HD colors.

Thanks for the responses.
My brother is OK. He broke 10 ribs and had some face time with the ground but he's all healed up. This was back in early Feb. The bike has been sitting untouched because insurance wouldn't cover it. Brother had no license, let alone an M designation. So if my mom went that route she'd still be out of pocket or my brother would be charged with "operating a vehicle without owner consent"... a felony. It is what it is. Now it's time to fix it.
Harley said they would take it for 2k or fix it for 13k. The bike was pristine only 1200 miles and not a scratch. My mom was afraid to ride it so it was a garage queen.
The neck, and wishbone frame are fine. just the tree stops got kicked over a bit. the floorboards are bent and fender. I would like to find another fender like the stock. I'm going to take the tins once I roll out that dent in the tank, to LineX for their "ultra" coating. It's wicked nice. take the chrome parts and powder coat vivid black. I'm going to put 16" apes on it and leave the bags off. I feel like this stuff is the easiest way to get it on the road again.
Plus it is all with the notion that I get the bike if I fix it. But I will probably try to sell it to give my mom some money back for her loss.
