best place for research photos
Hi all,
only new to the forum, however just about to purchase a 1977 FLH shovel and wanted to know the best place on the internet to go and find some reference photos to return the bike to original. Of course, when I google 1977 FLH Harley - I get millions of photos - but figured that they would be (somewhere) a site that has some photos etc of just stock gear. I know that the brake calipers are non-original on this one, but also would appreciate some help from you guys to identify the other non-original parts. Probably all sounds a bit stupid I guess, but I had a 77 shovel as a young bloke many years ago and always regretted selling it - so now I've got the opportunity to get another one, I'm taking it. As I have a few 'war wounds' I can't ride that far, so it will mainly be for short trips, but a rebuilt hobby I guess. Anyhow, thanks in advance.

I sure would like to know how anyone sealed that rear pipe, if that is the trans cover I think it is [stock '77 FLH]
BTW I think Rear Rack and License plate holder are Not O.E.
Didn't look much closer..
Not Original... but a true Survivor, wrong seat/rest/rack, and the crash bars may be the older [smaller] ones...Air cleaner is Older, and should have battery cover

Nice looking bike...the speedo is not original...it has an EVO air filter...and an aftermarket points cover...that would be about all I would change...and then ride the crap out of it.
Can't tell much from the pics but it looks like it has aftermarket 4 piston calipers...no way I would remove those, and replace them with crappy stock calipers..
