Ok, opinions..... which would be considered better quality wise and watt wise? I know it seems that the standard for TOP QUALITY is either SounDigital or JL Audio.... but for the guys not looking to sink $1500+ into a system on a rider, is there a real difference between the Soundstream and Cerwin Vega Stealth Bomber series between quality of build and quality of watts produced?
Are you comparing 2ch or 4ch and what's the speakers being used? Yes it matters.
Well, what started this thought was the fact that I'm getting ready to add a set of PRV 8MB600FT's to my bags and they only come in 8ohms. Well, I was going to have to add another amp to my setup(currently running a SS PN4.1000D pushing a set of PRV6MR500' and a set of Cadence XPRO69CX'S). So I was looking at a SS PN1.650 or a CV B52. Was going to bridge both so it would run at 4ohms.
why not another PN4.1000D, run bridged, one side to each?

Well, the 8MB600FT's are 8ohm speakers.... so I would only be able to run them to 1 side bridges on another PN4.1000D. The other side would just be wasted.
I am familiar with the speakers, as i am currently running them in my bags. Do some more homework on amp outputs at different ohm ratings.

How would you suggest running an 8ohm speaker bridged on each side of an amp that is only rated for 4ohms? I'm familiar with how to read amp specs and output ratings.....

Brother you can always bridge higher ohms. Just not lower. If it's stable at 4ohms, then it'll be stable at 8 or 16 but not at 2ohms. Anything under 4ohms bridged it will more than likely fry.
