For $5k on a 117" I would think you should be 130+ hp and 140+ ft-lb easy....

Check this option out. Cost might be a little more than $5K when the other necessary hardware is included, i.e., tuner, exhaust, T/B and injectors.

I did the TC stage 4 117" on my '17 FXSE at Heritage for the same reasons (warranty)
I can't really comment on cost as the labor was covered under warranty for a different issue (factory crankcase had a cracked screw hole behind cam cover)

Here in Canada we get kinda screwed over on HD parts as the CDN dealer cost is exactly what US dealers sell at. So right away we are paying 30% more on parts for dealer mark up. Now, this was when Dealey had the Canadian monopoly so I can't say this is still the case but it sure seems like our parts are marked up just as much as before.
The price you pay is gonna be the price. Comments from Americans are useless unfortunately and linking to non H.D. parts and pieces isn't useful either due to the warranty inclusion.
I can't comment on the M8 power increase (WTF is a stage 4 117 to 117 anyways? Isn't "stage 4" including a displacement increase?)

What does the SE catalog show in their little dyno graphs? Anything?

What you can do while the weather is still good is go to George Welch and get a baseline dyno and then get him to dyno it after your wiz-bang upgrades.
Just don't let him talk you into any other "upgrades"!

Easy little fella. Keep it in context.

The paragraph your are cherry picking from is in regard to pricing. So, American comments about prices are pointless. Because the OP is Canadian and dealing with Canadian funds and Canadian HD dealers.
