Stage II Harley Cams
#2
got the 447 within 60 days of delivery (June 2017) for obvious warranty reasons. Had a single issue of sumping early this season which may/may not be related to the new cam. Latest gen oil pump as of April this year. Not sure if the lack of sumping is related to new oil pump or the religion of idling down 1-2 minutes before shutting down. No abnormal valve train noise. 18,000 miles of being ridden hard and runs like a champ.

Had the 447 in my 17 along with the full SE hi flow exhaust, heavy breather, and the sepst with auto tune module. Decent gains, but honestly wasnt overly impressed. I had some issues with the tune initially - resolved with the auto tune module, lifters and cam tensioner issues and ultimately pretty severe sumping problems.
Overall, it's an ok upgrade if the warranty is still intact and of any importance. If warranty isnt a concern, or there's not much time left on the warranty, I highly recommend going aftermarket. I've ridden a couple bikes with afftermarket cams. One had the s&s 475 with s&s power tune duals and mk 45 cans, the other had a woods 22x with a bassani 2-1 exhaust. Huge difference between those and the all SE setup I had.

SE 447 in an otherwise stock M8 114, only other thing changed is the mufflers (S&S Grand Nationals). Using the SE Pro Street Tuner for an all-warranty-compliant build.
I got it installed within 60 days, about 10,000 miles ago. In general I have been quite happy with it, it's done everything I asked and more. The torque is excellent, blasting out of twisty corners in 3rd gear at 3500 rpm puts some strain on your arms to hold on. It's no literbike of course, but it's still a great upgrade over stock, it's about 25% more HP and 25% more torque.
I am probably most pleased that the MPG is just as good as stock (when I drive responsibly). I can get over 50 MPG on this bike (which comes in very handy with the tiny 3.6-gallon tank), or I can ride like a madman and get a 1/4-mile time neck and neck with a Challenger Hellcat. I haven't noticed any noise increase, but I ride with earplugs and never checked, so ... It may or may not be noisier, I never noticed.
I am happy with it this way until my factory warranty expires. Then, I will do something, maybe as simple as a TTS or PV tune to unlock what it can do, or maybe a big-bore kit with something like the TTS200. The 447 is good as-is, but it doesn't keep building power as the revs climb. It is a 100/120 build now, I would eventually like to see something more like 130/130 when the warranty is gone. Until then, the 447 is a great upgrade for few dollars, my total stock-to-Stage II upgrade cost was $1500 and it's been a steal of a deal, especially since the warranty is fully intact.
