Default 2000 Sportster Project

Finally have a plan in place. After having a couple of professions look it over, mainly wanting to make sure it hasn't been wrecked and it hasn't. And after they stopped laughing about the frankensportster, one guy said, the other guy said it reminded him of Johnny Cash's Cadillac. I had to agree with him...
to the build, a budget 48, something I have been wanting to do long before they had the new 48's. I found a set of drag bars with controls... found my wide glide and a 16" 40 spoke front wheel with single disc. This is a good start. Still have to think about a gas tank and fenders.... or maybe no fenders. Not sure yet. I'll be stripping it down this weekend. I have a guy that's going to take care of ALL the electrical next week. I am not an electrical guy, nope just can't do it.
Ill be posting pics as I go. Winters here so the perfect time to get started...
lets ride!!

Talking

There's some 'creative' stuff going on with that bike! They are almost worthy of a thread of their own....
