Is there any big difference between the years 2003 - 2006. When making a purchase they both same price but is it better to go with the newer year Electra.

Like I said I come from shovel heads. I also know more about the evo motors and years where they used the infamous cam bearing with plastic. Also another example is 97- above evo (RK, Etc) have more available and interchangeable parts.

So I was wondering is there any diff between 2003 model Electra compared to 2006.

Thanks in advance

How many miles on the red one? Are the fuel injected or carb? The red one looks like a carb, hard to say from the pixs though. Full size tour-pak on either?

What are the prices? They’re both damn good looking bikes, I kinda like the black one more but honestly I’d ride either one of them without a second thought.

I believe the 03 has a solid crank, not welded. I have and 06 and it seems bulletproof (except for the cam chain tensioners). 06 has more free flowing heads because of crappy cam regulated by EPA. Do some research and you will make the right decision.

They are basically the same bike besides of the add ons. In 07 they got the 96 and six speed and 09 they changed the frame. I like the red one better. But either one is nice.
