If you'll take a rebuilt starter, why not just get a used one on eBay?

Also, not sure of your build but if you have a TC, get some S&S EZ start cams.

I've had good luck with All ***** starters. A little pricey but they work well and have a lifetime warranty. They also offer starter parts if you were thinking of rebuilding your existing starter.

Just crap one of the 100.00 dollar starters off Amazon and be done with it install it and let us know how you made out with it. The only other way is to rebuild it your self if you can keep us informed.

Why not just rebuild what you have with a rebuild kit.

I have a 1550 Stage II motor and bought an all chrome starter on EBay for $127 delivered. It works just fine to this day. Don't be afraid of it. It's the same stuff.
