Question Mirror flip

I really like the look of the mirrors flipped. The problem that I知 having is figuring out how to do it? I have 16 Street Bob, the clutch side is the easy part, the clutch side is the problem since the mirror stem is the turn signal mount. Has anyone been able to describe how to do the modification, if so please let me know.

On my 16 fxdls, just remove mirrors and switch sides. Mount upside down. Right mirror now goes on clutch side and vice versa. Jim

Easy for you to say ... Two different mounting systems.

Yours in Red ... His in Green.

Good time to swap out your signals and get some fork led signals from custom dynamics as a gift for yourself =)

First, mock up the mirrors to where you think they will mount. Try to determine if you'll be able to see behind you well. Sometimes flipping the mirrors doesn't work, depending on the bars and other factors. If it looks like you can use them that way then go ahead and buy what you need.

I tried this and found the mirrors to be pretty much useless after the change.
try them first and see how you do.

Call me crazy, but mounting the mirrors upside down? Wouldn't that be more of a distraction?
As you would be looking downward more?
Or at least I felt like I was when I tried that.. Even with 14 inch bars on a 3 inch risers felt like I took my eyes off the road more than I wanted to...
Just my two cents..

Looks good though...

I always look over my shoulder anyway. I mostly watch the mirrors when I'm stopped at a traffic light for oncoming cages.
And to see how pretty I am. LMAO
