I'll be following this thread. I recently came from adventure touring bikes, and I miss having hand guards when running down the interstate. I have had rocks and other debris bounce off of my hand guards at 80 MPH...glad I had more than just gloves on.

I know you said you said you don't like the Memphis Shades guards, but they work great and fit fine on my Fat Bob -

Just looking on the MS website. They don't list a set specifically for the '18 Heritage. Which set did you purchase?

MEB7220 is what I got. MS web site says they only fit FXXB. I went to my local HD dealer, looked at both FXXB and FLHCS and decided that the 7220 would work on both. Ordered thru Revzilla (had a credit coming), came in 2 days, and they worked quite well. Installed them on 11/30, tinkered with the adjustment a bit (gap between guard and grip), and found that they work quite well in blocking cold wind.

I called Memphis Shades about this lack of inclusion of the FLHCS on the MEB7220 fitment and told them that they, indeed, fit well. Also sent them a message thru their web site. Did the same to Revzilla because they just copy the Memphis Shades fitment information. I guess they didn't accept my word.

Before I ordered mine, I called Memphis Shades and asked why other fitments weren't included. They told me it was simply because they haven't tested it on other bikes. I chanced it and ordered a set for my bike and they fit just fine (note: I've deleted my front turn signals, so I can't confirm if they fit with turn signals in place).

I wish there was a way to have solid/reinforced hand guards for tbw bikes! I recommend NOT using plastic hand guards if you are in a "lane splitting" state.
