Default FXRP tank console suggestions

I have a dilemma and would like some assistance/suggestions. I have a FXRP tank console (#61145-92 pictured below) that has the fuel gauge located below where the gas cap is located. The hole should be filled with a fuel gauge (#75063-91) but I do not want to fill the hole with a fuel gauge. The hole is aprox. 2" to 2 1/8" in diameter. Have you seen any hole plug blanks or some sort of medallion that can be used to fill the hole? It is a recessed hole so putting something with some thickness would still create a somewhat "flush" surface. I have been trying to find something that would work but have been coming up with dead ends.

That looks almost too good to put on a bike! Is it NOS? There are alternative gauges you could consider, such as a clock, compass, voltmeter, etc, otherwise it looks as if you have a project to search for something during the dark nights ahead. That hole will take any auto or Harley 2" gauge.

Howabout a turbo boost gauge?! Jus' a thought.....

A mirror so you can “check your look” from time to time....

Seriously, will an amp or volt meter fit? At least it will be something functional. YD

For most people that's the first thing they take OFF those old cop bikes. That that and the farings. But if that's what you want then you should probably go with FlamedFXR's idea of some kind of medallion. Or maybe get a nice polished aluminum disc that fits, have something personal engraved on it and put that in the hole.
