Missed that, very cool, thanks.

My only concern is "manufacturer certified EPA compliant" - basically S&S saying so. Is that how all EPA compliant stuff works? Or are there certifying agencies that do "official" certifications? If HD can't deny this, it'll be on my bike next week!

Yes,
It looks like it'll hopefully be (one of) the best solutions for the Softail M8 and especially since it will also fit the Low Rider, the unofficial replacement for the FXR and new big twin hot rod platform.
These S&S mufflers are no different than the Harley Street Cannon's that include a CAT.

PS: Looks like you can also run these in quiet mode for good power, just slightly shifted on the graph.

I'm going to my dealer today and will sit down with the service director and service manager to get their thoughts. If positive, and S&S will back their "certification" I'll be ordering one later today for my LR

Probably EPA qualifies S&S and if they follow the guidelines, can release a muffler like this.
