Default Shoei Neotec SRL Sena pairing with Boom GTS?

I recently traded up to a 19 Ultra Limited with the Boom GTS. I already own a Shoei Neotec II with an intergrated Sena SRL Bluetooth system and also a Sena Cavalier half shell helmet with Sena Bluetooth intergrated. My question to anyone that may have experimented with these devices in pairing with the Whim and the GTS? What I really want to accomplish is to be able to route phone calls from my iPhone to the Boombox and out to the Sena. I currently have the Sena paired to the phone. I know with a non Harley headset will be in mono and not stereo which is ok. I like my music to my motorcycle speaker rather to headset speakers. I just don’t want to buy a whim if it won’t pair with the Sena SRL or the cavalier helmet.

The SRL is based on Sena's 20S technology so that should be fine. Do you mean the Sena "Cavalry" 1/2 helmet? If so, that should be fine too with the WHiM (It's based on the 10R technology), except monaural, as you mentioned.

Thanks, I had also heard that. But the other day I was talking with the parts manager at my local H-D dealership and she warned about some non-Harley headsets not pairing. I believe it could’ve been some older units.

If you want to be absolutely sure, check your local dealer to see if they have a '19 model with the WHiM already installed. They should allow you to try to pair your helmets with it before you order a WHiM.

That is a excellent idea. They got a few CVO’s that should have the whim installed. I’ll definitely go that route first before dropping $350. Currently I have my iPhone connected to both the bike and Sena. I can answer calls from the GTS screen but have to change the phones Bluetooth to the Sena before my caller can here me from my headset.

I got another thought. If I get mono sound and I recieve a phone call in mono will it be harder to hear vs stereo. The way I’m connected now with headset to phone it’s in stereo. I know that music is affected, will that be the same with phone volume quality. I guess that can also be evaluated when i check the pairing to a CVO. I can check volume quality.

No, because both ears will be interpreting the same sound.

Im having the same issue. I have a 2019 CVO Ultra.

I was hoping this youtube video would help -

The video showed me I was missing a set-up screen and make it clear without the Harley Sena stamped Sena 20, you cannot pair

Please let me know if there is a workaround - Thank you

i have tried cardo pt bold and sena 50 series - the only way to get this to work was to buy the HD boom 30k (went with the most recent version) - stupid and frustrating
