Service Manual prices
I was looking to get a service manual for my 16 RGS. Are they really in the $130 range now? That's at least double what I remember paying for the one I got for my 05 Glide.
Any suggestions on the best place to get one?
(Man I'm getting old....about to start griping about kids on my lawn in a moment!).

I got one on eBay last week. All printed out and put in a binder for $70. It was for 2018 softies, but idt it matters

HD doesn't sell their service manuals in PDF format. Those sold on the net are illegal pirated copies. We don't allow discussion or distribution of illegal materials on HD Forums. Doing so is grounds for removal. Several posts have been removed from this thread. This is just a warning!

Spend the bucks on the FSM Factory Service Manual. Cheaper than your first screw up without one.

Best pricing is to either find a used one on the classifieds, or ebay, or do what I did and buy one from surdyke.

Ooooo...I've been chastized. Oooo...
HD corporate don't like my tshirts I've acquired over the years either.
Some of us were riding before the rubs "discovered" Harleys.
But even the OFFICIAL HARLEY DAVIDSON manual at 130 is still less than two hours labor.
Is it legal to discuss aftermarket parts? Ain't they patented?
Guess this is a site controlled by corporate?
I'll be back if they boot me. Now I know why this site is a frequent target.

The service manual is worth every penny. When you consider the cost of paying a technician to work on your bike, it doesn’t take long for the service manual to pay for itself. That, and it can really help you from making a costly mistake.
