Debating on getting a used 107 which I really love in Bonneville salt or spending the extra cash on a 19’ 114
anything I should be scared of on the 107

I have a 2017 RGS with a 107 stage 1 and love it. My local dealer keeps trying to get me to trade up and I keep saying no way. I’m very happy.

With that being said, if I was in your shoes I’d get the 2019 with the 114.

 

Nothing to be scared of with the 107.... If I were buying and could afford the ‘19 I’d buy it, the 114 is a nice plus but the new audio system is a big improvement.

 

I was happy with my ‘18 Deluxe until I put a full, all-OEM Stage I on it. It really woke the bike up. Now I am very happy with it.

 

I pulled the trigger on a 19 SG standard and I’m in love. The thing runs like an animal out of the box. Quite impressive with a lot of options. As for the 114, I did not compare them.

Love my 107. I did a stage 2 though. But even stage 1 it was great. What money difference are u talking? Is the used one loaded with stuff you want? Other idea, have them swap the paint sets. There are definitely some upgrades with the 19 but love my 17. Good luck!

 

I rode 19s both the 107 and the 114 back to back and I have to say it wasn't a noticeable enough difference to justify the price. If you are set on the color of the used one and they aren't offering a stupid deal on the special the answer is a lot more obvious. I thoroughly enjoy my 107, it does the trick for most everything I want to do with it. Although my buddy who owns a local indy/speed shop is trying his damndest to convince me to drop it off to him for a 124 build....
