Messed up badly, broke bolt in engine case.
Ok I am hoping there is some way to fix what I have done. I have a 08 Ultra Classic, I decided I wanted to put in a performance oil pump and bigger cams. Well while putting the cam plate back on I snapped a bolt off. That wasn’t bad enough I attempted to drill it out. Long story short I destroyed the hole. I can get the screw in but I wallowed the hole out so much it doesn’t screw in. So my question is do you think the cam plate will be ok with just the 5 bolts holding it on? It’s bolt number one behind the tensioner. I view it as either run it with just the 5 bolts or get another case and swap out basically the entire engine.
I dont think I can run a tap and die as it would make the hole bigger than the bolt.
Thoughts?

Stop where you are. Take it to someone that get paid to do this for a living. It most likely can be saved but there is a point where it can't.
It went wrong, it got worst , there comes a time to leave it to someone else. Time- Sert would be a very secure fix if done right.

Maybe time to stroke it, but I am sure didn't plan on spending thousands and hours today.
I am kind at think best solution is new or used cases. Labor intensive. If you do go down that rabbit hole, try scraping money together to do other work, since you have it apart.
