Default Fuelpak FP-3 or Screamin' Eagle Pro Street Tuner?

Hey all, I'm rocking a pair of Cobra RPT slip on's on my Sportster 2016. I did the replacement and it was great for about 600 miles, but not its popping a lot and I'm not getting a great throttle response. I think its time to tune this thing. Wondering whats a good tuner for it. Cobra sells one that doesn't; marry to the bike, I see a lot of people using the FP-3 and I was wondering what you guys think? I'm planning on replacing the air cleaner with a stage 1 at some point too.

As always, thank you for your advice and knowledge Its not running great

Diego,

You inadvertently removed the Catalytic Converters when you removed the OEM mufflers. The aftermarket slip ons you have are probably cat-less. Therefore the Harley tuner will not work since it is not designed for cat-less application. You increased the airflow out the back with a free-flowing exhaust, but the intake isn't able to supply the air it needs, as it was designed to work with a more restrictive exhaust. Recommend first giving your engine the air it needs with a high-flow intake. All high-flow intakes do the same thing, just pick the look you want. Then you can re-MAP the bike with an FP3 tuner.

You can always go to your local dealer and have a better conversation with the parts guys or the techs.

Happy riding!
