Loud hornes for 2017 Sportster 48
I have a 2017 Sportster 48. I've looked through the forums but have not seen what I'm looking for. Does anyone make a black really loud horn that will mount in stock location? The stock horn doesn't cut it. It's quieter than a stock Heritage horn. Some one should address this if one isn't available. I consider it a real safety issue. I know trumpet air horns are loud but I don't like the way they look. I had one on my Heritage in the stock location and I had a lot of cars move when I blew it. I can't remember who made it. If anyone can help, thanks.

Do a search on this forum or the general internet search engines.
Yes, that link above for the Harley horn is bolt on and many say not worth it as it has little loudness increase.
Air horns are much (much) louder yet I can agree they "look" out of place when no great thought is put into the mounting system.
Pep Boys, O'Reillys have small round horns...Hi and Lo tones...do a search... I think the recommend mod is hi tone Flamm brand.
Good luck.

I put the above horn on mine. Its 2x as loud. I am always thinking how to ride safer. A loud horn is a good thing. I am feeling a more important thing is as much and bright light as possible. I really like the flashing headlight button on the newer harleys. I use it to flash anyone at an intersection as I go thru. With all the distractions in a car these days, and they're built extremely quiet, I feel the horn is not as important as a bright headlight. Having both would be ideal
