During our ES trip, I did turn off all other speakers through the DSP. I took a ride and I was able to hear my bags till right at 50MPH, I heard them rattle over 60MPH but the music was pretty much gone. Keep in mind I do have 10's and currently pushing 600 watts to each bag.

Wow, that's pretty interesting feedback. 10's with 600w is quite formidable so that's great insight.
I guess you guys are playing your rear stage for your passenger, who needs to hear there saddlebags over 50 mph if your front stage is solid? The majority of time I'm one up so I guess that's why I'm not understanding.
I have a switch wired in to shut off my bags. I find that yes you do loose them at speed but when i turn them off you can tell there gone. It's hard to explain what the sound is at speed but if I had to, I guess it makes the hole package fuller so I leave them on for the most part.

I guess when I get on the road trying to hear music in full stereo above 70 mph doesn't do it for me. I do know a lot of guys that blow there speakers trying to hear there music loud and clear above 60-70 mph, most of them have had a drink or two also. Above 80 it's time to turn headset music on.
