Default FM friendly amps

Hey all,
Currently running a BT4180 amp in the fairing of my 2009 FLHT. HU is a Sony MEX-M70. Fairing speakers are DB Drive WDX G2's and have some 6.5" PA's in my lowers. The 4180 has/is serving me well, but I know a lot has changed in the seven years it has been in use. Considering looking at more current amps for my set up. It does need to be FM friendly as I do like listening to local radio and FM when I travel. Something that will drive the speakers nicely. Cost? Hell, say < $300. Thx for any input.

I'm not anywhere near an authority, but if I had a chance to do it over, I would definitely go with the Stinger. I'm pretty sure folks have reported that it's not as bad on the FM. My .02 fwiw.

If you have a power antenna in the fairing (hidden antenna) then no amp will work. If you have a standard antenna then the stinger will work well with a standard rear mount antenna and that sony HU.

I use an external rear antenna. No internal fairing antenna has ever worked for me. Cool...

Then the stinger will work just fine. RF tm400 will also work.

I guess I should also ask, what would I gain musicality wise, between my BT4180 and Stinger 700/RF TM400 ampswith my fairing WDX G2's/PRV lowers ? Worth the $$ for a basic fairing set up?

Warmer, richer tones, and the ability to set your own cross-overs and gains. Plus, keep 400 buck in your pocket!
