Default My bike has a huge squeak

It's in the rear area,.it's not the shocks what could it be? Seems like something needs to be lubed /greased but I could be wrong. It's loud

Muffler hanger grommets? Hit them with some WD40 and check.

If it's the hanger grommets, I've had "the squeak" several times over the 151,000 miles on my U/C. Lubricating them works for a short while (for me), but I usually I go buy another set of them... they're cheap and easy to replace. Squeak gone for another 5,000 miles.

Make sure the exhaust clamps are tight. Baffles sometimes can squeak as well.

next time that happens to me I'm gonna soak them in some power steering fluid for an hr and see how long that works.

Also check the rubber pads on the bottom of the saddlebags. Might need to lube those too.

Ok I’ll give them a love spray and see what happens.......

ok I hear nothing...........oh guess I have take it for a test ride? Will see tomorrow on my way to work

CRC makes a spray silicone grease is rubber friendly. Seems after the winters the rear shock lower bushings needs just a little attention. the touring bikes do have more areas of attention that's already been mentioned.

Had work done on my bike few years back, squeaky when I got it back, belt to tight, not saying that it is, but just an idea
