Angry Metal Fusion Plating is a company to avoid

Hoping I can help others avoid the same mistake I made by never doing business with Metal Fusion Plating in Miami Florida. I sent them my Harley parts on Feb 2, 2019 along with full payment for chroming these parts. I know I was naive to send full payment, but had had several conversations with the owner and felt like I was working with professionals. They promised the job would be done and shipped on Feb 8, 2019, but week after week and promise after promise they failed to complete the work. Tired of waiting, on April 1, 2019, I requested that they just send my parts and money back to me, but they refuse to do either. It's now June 16, 2019 and they still have my parts and money. I've filed a complaint with the credit card money and hopefully will get my money back but Dennis (owner of the company) refuses to return my parts is says he's going to sell my parts. So, do yourself a favor and avoid these thieves at all costs!

Since you're in Ohio and they're in Florida, doesn't that constitute interstate fraud? If so, that's a federal matter.

Just something to consider.

I hadn't thought of that. Thanks, I'll look into it.

Thanks for the info...

If it were me, I would have been in Miami for Spring Break.

Thank you, it seems the best I can hope for is for the credit card company to refund the money I paid through them. The jerk owner claims that he's done work so the parts are his. If he had truly completed the work I assume the right thing to do would be ship the parts to me and I'd gladly pay for it. After all, that's what we agreed to in the first place.

I would just get yourself an attorney, or handle it the stupid way that I would. But seriously make the law work for you on this one. Why should you lose your parts for your bike man! Fight even though this place is in Florida- ROAD TRIP.......

Problem is an attorney likely would cost more than the parts I'm losing. I do have calls into the police and awaiting a response as to what course I can take. Thanks.
