Default 2004 Superglide

Hello, I have a 2004 Superglide carb bike. I have did a lot to it as far as looks but now I want to get more power out of it. I have a K and N air filter that is open on the back, Vance and Hines pipes, and just a thick pair of S and S plug wires. I did take the springs cam chain tensioners off the bike, glad I did the back ons was broke already and installed S and S high flow oil pump and the hydralic tensioners on it. what else can I do to get more power out of the bike minus rebuilding the engine, Maybe 2 into one pipe, new coil, or points? Any information would be greatly apricated and can you add a link to the parts please. The carb has been tuned tot he vance and hines pipes and the open filter.

A nice 2-1 exhaust will get you a few more ponies. But for any real improvement you should look at cams and headwork. Unless there is something wrong with the motor there's no need to rebuild it.

The best and cheapest way to upgrade a Harley power train is to do it ALL at one time.

Until that day, ride it with the one leg it came with and get some use out of the stock parts. When it's worn and needs attention, do your research, get your wallet out and do it all at once.

Based on what you've said there isn't much left on the table. No matter what somebody says who's trying to sell you something.

Should have added Cams and most definitely New Cam Bearings while you were in the Cam Chest Upgrading the Tensioners .. Lots of Choices on Cams I went with a fairly mild Andrews TW21 but got what I wanted with them Better Low and Mid Range Torque ..

Let's be honest here, Yours, like mine is 20 year old design. Considering you don't want to rebuild the engine, what ever very small amount of bolt-on power that can be done will not even be noticed in a few months.

Good luck, Ride and enjoy your bike as it is.
