Default Stripped holes in fairing

So I took my outside fairing off of my 2012 streetglide and the plastic is stripped where the brass insert goes. Anyone have any ideas on what type of epoxy or glue I need to reset the brass insert. Thank you in advance

This is how I did mine :

1) Take brass insert and find a long bolt that fits it, ( not sure of the thread size ) after threading the bolt in the insert, clamp onto it with a pair of vice grips.
2) Take a propane torch and heat up the brass insert hot enough to melt plastic, then shove the insert back into the hole where it came from.
3) Make sure the insert goes in straight and just far enough in so it is recessed the same amount as the other ones, hold in place until cool.

I have done two like this with good results and no glue , YMMV

Just fixed one this weekend on my 2011 SG. Got the repair insert from the dealer. Used a 1/4 -20 bolt with two nuts to act as locknuts.and screwed the insert in. Worked fine.

Pay attention to the minimal torque spec on these screws and you won't be stripping the inserts............................

Torch sounds like a great idea. Ty. I have the brass insert kit but the plastic is stripped not the brass.

The only problem with the torch method is after heating the plastic it tend to get brittle.
