My wife and I were out for a nice Sunday ride.
The only destination was to stop somewhere and have a ice cream.
When we got home she says
What am I supposed to do if you have a sudden heart attack or just f’n die?
the only answer I could give is
Not sure but it’s not going to be pretty?
has any of you had this talk with your wives?

You got a large hot fudge sundae again didn't you? Are you talking about having a heart attack while riding or just in life in General? My wife always gives me **** about having a heart attack or otherwise kicking the bucket. It's just like any other time i/we get on the bike...theres always a chance some idiot might ruin your day or life. What should you do, stay home and plant flowers? Have good life insurance and don't worry about it

 

To her: "you're ****ed, get over it or stay home".

 

i'm assuming she means while riding and she's on the back. I would tell her she would do the same that she would do if she were in the passenger seat of the car, 'hang on tight, it ain't gonna be pretty'.

 

It's not for everyone, and it could shorten lives. I'd try a nice peach yogurt....

 

On the bike or just in general?

On the bike- Who cares, if the heart attack didn't kill you the ensuing crash probably would. Passenger would go down with the ship. Live or die? Yeah, one or the other.
On of my former co-worker's husbands had a heart attack behind the wheel of his work truck. Truck veered into a ditch and rolled. He was dead from the heart attack before the truck crashed.

Off the bike? Cash in your life insurance, put you in the ground, and go on living?
