Default 2017 Heritage Softail - Low Miles & Loaded

$14,300. Private seller - no fees, no taxes in most states. Low mileage and loaded with accessories/upgrades. Last model year of the old-style Heritages before H-D did the re-design and blacked everything out beginning with the 2018's. Excellent condition - paint is flawless - good tires - good battery.

* 2-tone Black Hills Gold & Black Quartz - factory custom color for 2017
* 3,900 miles
* 103 High Output motor
* Security & ABS
* Cruise Control & Electronic Throttle (standard on the '17's)
* Samson True Dual Fishtails (sound good, but not obnoxious)
* S-E Air Cleaner
* Vance & Hines Fuel Pack Tuner
* Smooth profile Aluminum wheel option with tubeless Wide Whitewalls
* Chrome front axle-nut covers
* Fat 1 1/4" Chrome Beach Bars (stock bar also included)
* Nostalgic Hand Grips
* Nostalgic light smoke windshield with Leather W-S bag
* Motherwell chrome Solo Luggage Rack (Passenger pillion also included)
* Battery Tender pigtail
* 2 Fobs & 2 keys

Free & clear AZ Title. Just had dealer do brake flush and clutch adjustment on 7/17 to make sure it's ready to go. Won't find a nicer one with all the add-ons and for the price.

103HO is just what Harley called the 103" Twin Cam of that year because Rushmore granted the 103" with hotter cams than the previous 103". Although, I'm not 100% sure the Rushmore 103HO made it to the Softail line but the seller should confirm. Rest assured, calling the engine "High Output" isn't self applied, the MoCo coined it.

And you're right about the taxes. I've registered used vehicles in a lot of states and they always get their cut.

Yes, the 103ho was standard in the 17 Heritage.

Yep, what they said! H-D started using different cams in the Softails beginning with the 2016 models, I believe; think it's the S-E 255 cam....a bit more lift than what they used stock prior to 2016.

Regarding my statement on taxes.....AZ and most surrounding states do not charge ANY sales tax on Private Seller transactions when you go to register/plate the vehicle. I don't know how widespread this is in other parts of the country. But, it's a huge incentive here to buy from a Private Seller, as opposed to a dealer. This applies no matter where I would buy a bike or cage across the country.....buy from a dealer out-of-state, pay the State portion of the Sales Tax - 5.6%.......buy from an individual anywhere in the country, pay zero Sales Tax. Of course, we in AZ do have to pay a Vehicle License Tax, which is based on the book value of the vehicle, but it's far, far less than having to pay the Sales Tax.

Tomato, Tah-ma-to... The state gets their cut.

That and I've always had good luck putting a verbally agreed upon price on the title, if you catch my drift.

In Texas, a buyer used to pay taxes at the DMV based on purchase price. They quit doing that years ago for the very reason you state above.

Now, you pay taxes based on the value of the vehicle. And yes, that get's them their cut.

Left for its new home this morning. C-List ad comes through! Only had one legitimate inquiry on it in all the time it was posted for sale on 3 different sites. Slow market for private sales.
