If you can't post a picture at least post what the wire colours are.

What year is the bike? I know it's pre 2007 only.

My '02 883R has a 3 prong plug above the carb that is used to power a solenoid that opens the spring loaded closed air cleaner inlet on California bikes. I was going to use the switched 12v power for a tachometer but I never got around to it.

Could be the plug for your Flux Capacitor. Try running the bike up to 88 mph and see what happens.

You don't want to do that unless you notify the team.

The Harley at precisely 88 mph (142 km/h) will activate the flux capacitor and you will travel through time. That requires the team to step in and get you back.

Not done properly, you will be gone forever.

Assuming the Flux Capacitor is plugged in... without the plug he wont generate the required 1.21 gigawatts of electricity.
