I am about the supernatural not the superstitious

 

Well, I have had one on my bike since day one, in fact it's the same bell I had on my old bike. It's the one thing I wouldn't let go with the bike when I got rid of it. And I have never and any crashes or problems out on the road with either bike. Was it the bell?, don't know.

 

I don't believe in spells and such, and don't put much store in a little bell making anything better or worse. I have them because I like the legend, the tradition, and it is fun to give one when a friend gets a new bike.

I crashed 3 months ago with just a raspberry on my left thigh and $5500.00 in damage. I was riding the next weekend and now that winter is here I will be doing my repairs. Most of my damage was cosmetic.

I have 2 bells now.

 

9 months, 10,000 miles with out a gremlin. Proof enough for me.

I noticed this past weekend that I couldn't hear my bell. I can normally hear it cruising in town, even though I have drag pipes. I finally remembered to look and it's GONE! I don't know if I should ride again until I get another one....
