They have one in the Sportster, Dyna, and Softail sections, and now its our turn.
I did this when I was in the Softail forums and it can be a lot of fun. Even if you can't get the specific photo in question, it is cool to see who does.
Thanks to MaTcheS for the original idea and rules.
Here's how you play:
The Idea: It all starts with a challenge for riders to go out and get pictures! For example: Your bike near a large body of water OR your bike with a good looking lady on it OR a sunset silhouette pic of your bike ETC...
Whoever posts the first pic gets to set the next challenge.
other rules...
1) All photos must be new. In order to prove photos are new, the poster will ask for something specific in the photo. I.e. Glasses/goggles on seat, helmet next to bike, Gloves hanging on handlebars etc. Something that will show that it is a new photo
2) The idea is to get out and ride, make sure that the photo's can be taken safely and try to be creative.
3) If a challenge is too difficult, or an acceptable photo is not posted in 7 days, the last person to start a challenge can name a new one. If that person doesn't then the next person to post in the thread can come up with the new challenge.
4) Remember, this is all just for fun, please keep that in mind.
5) Who ever started the challenge has the final say in wether someones photo meets the requirements of the challenge, if there is some question.
Good luck! Lets see some cool photos!
Since it has been the nastiest winter I can remember, the first challenge is your bike in front of a snow bank or snow plow. With your goggles/glasses on the seat. Driveway shots don't count. (with apologies to our souther riders)
Don't want to interrupt your Touring game since I am involved in the Softail photo game thread but one of the things that has evolved in that thread is including a link to additional info about the object of the challenge. Makes for interesting reading. Best of luck with the thread.
yzergod's photo doesn't meet your requirements. Glasses/goggles not on the seat to indicate it's a new photo. So officially it hasn't advanced from your initial challenge.
