Deluxe and Heritage Softail front fender script

Does anyone know if the Deluxe emblem will fit on a Heritage Softail Fender? They both have three mounting points but not sure if they match?

One would think that they would be interchangeable... I think the Heritage and the Deluxe use the same fender.

Part numbers are different for the deluxe and heritage fender in the 2013 parts manual.
