Batwing on a Slim.. Need assistance
2013 Slim.. I have seen Memphis Shades batwing fairings on slims in photos here. Nowhere on their site does it list one that fits a Slim.
I need to know what model number fairing and what model number mounting brackets fit on a 13 Slim?
Any help appreciated!

2013 FLS with a Memphis Shades Batwing Fairing
PackRat56,
I did put a Memphis Shades batwing on my '13 FLS. Since the Fat Boy fork is very similar to the FLS, that's the one I ordered along with the QD kits for an accessory light bar.
I will add a couple of items to take into consideration...
1. This WILL cover your front turns in their stock position. In the second picture you can see the drop brackets I built to get them below the front of the fairing.
2. It will require drilling new holes in the mounting brackets to accommodate the difference in spacing from the Fat Boy fork.
3. It also puts a little tension on your clutch cable and mine has rubbed the back of the front fender somewhat. I'd recommend a strip of clear film to protect the paint if you're not raising the bars or shortening the clutch cable. The pullback risers should fix this problem.
I'm 5' 10" and the 9" windscreen is perfect. The difference at 75 on the highway is HUGE! The pics here show the 7" and I since upgraded to the 9".
Just got the parts today to drop the front turns to an accessory light bar as I'm installing the pullback risers (friggin' bursitis...getting older comes with "challenges") which would put the turns back behind the fairing and dropping the brackets even further just wouldn't look good. I get a lot of comments on the fairing for my Slim.
Hope this helps!
