Need to get the right length black steel bolts, and wheel spacers made up. But oh man does this front setup look tough as nails. I'm lovin it

I'm only in town for 2 weeks out of every months, and with majority of my time going to the other bike, I'd be lucky to get a few hours on it a fortnight lately

I wish I could go there and give you a hand bro! To me nothing is more fun then building. I don't blame for building the other bike before yours, business comes first. You're doing it right though Ink, just do it the way you want it the first time while it's all apart. It beats ripping it apart again to redo little stuff. I'm diggin' those composite rotors.

Thanks bud. Had 3 weeks off work again to get a huge chunk done on this, but turns out I've spent pretty much the whole time doing the other bike. I enjoy the builds as well, I just think the frustration of not being able to ride for so long is getting to me

I wondered if you had a daily rider until now. Figured you did.
I only have one. So all of what I plan as far as big jobs. Even cleaning is save for the dead of winter.
You need a dsily or at least, something you can ride while creating your master pieces

Yeah that's it man you're right. There's no real winter here up in the northern end of Australia, just a cool summer. Bikes are insanely over priced here so it's not financially easy to have two Harley's, let alone custom ones. Plan is after I finish the train is to find me a cheap 88 cube Softail. Preferably the ugly one no one wants that I can tear down and create something really cool again. This time on the cheap, but still with all the style. Little or no motor work, and I'll make that one the daily ride, and show people who don't have much cash, what I can build them at a price most can still afford. It'll still be a soringer front end and all different tins for the cool style, just without all the expensive gagets and performance work. I'm actually pretty excited to get it started as I'm keen to do the paint, this one will have the heavy flakes and candy pearls with some of the old style paint work. You guys will have to wait and see

Hey Ink, what offset drive sprocket did you use, I'm running an exile primary, back wheel and sprocket brake but mines a five speed, I've swapped out my mainshaft. Great build by the way!!

Well I've been hooking into the train again this last week, front spacers are finally spot on and it's all locked in. Made up some hard mount seat mounts to have the seat pan as low as possible. Had to modify the seat some more for this.
I've opened up the brake live hole in the bars to accomodate the new proper pro race fittings for the brake lines. (Ditched the Goodridge sniper lines I had fitted). Oil lines took some custom work to get the race lines and fitting to work. Done the fuel line in the same gear too.

The tank mounts are now orange again. Ok no more painting the ****in tank lol



Oh this happened, I'm going to have two tanks that I can change over in 5 minutes depending on my mood for the day. This will be the tank but different mounts and some cool custim paint.
