Thinking about going fenderless
 

So I'm thinking about deleting my front fender.
I was wondering if anyone knows what size spacers I should be looking into to make up the space the fender left behind?
Or, should I find a shorter axle? If so, what size?

I don't know anything about Springers but, if the front fender is part of the axle spacer, then just measure the space between the hub and the forks. Do that on both sides and get spacers that are that size. Getting a shorter axle will not help you.

That is what I figured I should do, but I wasnt anywhere near my bike at the time. Just looking for a short cut.

Funny I went to a bike meet today where a guy had a springer he'd taken off the front fender and replaced it with a short fender made out of the tread of a tyre that matched his front tyre, looked good gave him a fender less look but he had something there for when it rained.
