Default 2007 Night Train handlebar swap

I have a 2007 Night Train and was thinking about swapping to Wild 1 Street Fighter bars (WO555B) like this:

http://www.wild1inc.com/555md.html

I currently have the stock drag bar with 4" risers, and would be going with 2" risers for these bars. Does anyone know if I'll need any new brake/clutch/etc lines? The height will be a little lower than the stock 6" risers, but I'll be a few inches farther back and a little wider.

I have a 2007 NT and the stock risers are 6". I swapped my stock bars to Carlini Gangster Apes which required me to extend the wires and cables 12". I am currently in the middle of installing 7" Carlini Clean Sweeps. I just got the bars mounted and the wires pulled through. I took measurements and to make everything fit, I am pretty much undoing everything I did to install the apes. I took 12" off the wire harnesses and from the rough measurements I took of the cables, it looks like I'll be doing the same thing there. So, with those bars you should be able to use your factory harness and cables without an issue.

Good luck with the install.

Went from stock to Wild1 W0501 w/o changing cables. Hope this helps.

Most stock cables/line have about 2" of play maybe more but the brake line will be your limit. Mine is not the NT but I went from the standard bars/risers to heritage bars/riser without any new lines/cables.

I don't think you should have any issues, what you lose for the new bar width you should gain from the lower riser plus the little extra slack.

Those wild1 bars look a lot like the stock FXST bars.
