So I finally got the carlini bag drags on the breakout and need throttle cables/break line. I really want to stay with stock black (or braided black). Hd found a couple oem cables essentially for other bikes and quoted me $250. For oem cables, that sounds steep. Anyone have another outlet or made a similar swap with better prices?

 

Worst part is I now need to remove the tank. And that has always been a gas mess that leaves the wife being fearful of entering the garage.

 

I don't know about cheaper, but I went with Magnum Black Pearl cables. AFAIK Magnum makes some of HD's cables.

 

Cheaper may not have been what I was going for. I guess "better value" would be more appropriate. If HD is charging 250 for OEM vinyl cables...can I get aftermarket black braided for the same price?
