Default Vance n Hines quiet baffles?

Has anyone switched over to Vance n Hines quiet baffles? I was wondering how quiet they are and if you are happy with them?

Had them, didn't like the sound, kinda "tinny" I thought. Changed to Big City Thunder baffles, much happier now.

I had standard baffles on my 05 Fatboy with big shots Staggered. I put the same ones on my 15 Fatboy. It must be the bigger engine because they are way louder.

Went from "tinny" on mine with the cheesegraters to deep and throaty. Took the "harshness" out of the exhaust note.

I never had the standard ones, put the quiets in when I installed the pipes. The BCT baffles are maybe a bit louder but much deeper sound.

+1 for the quiet baffles, but not so quiet.

The solution....I have an 07 Heritage, Stage One with V&H Long Shots. Pretty loud pipes, good throttle response but still loud and annoying crackle and pop on decel. Plus, in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears around 2800 to 3200 RPM, the V&H just hammer your ears with intense mid range, pop corn popper sound. My solution...I installed V&H Quiet Baffles, (a misnomer because they barely drop the volume, 2-3 Db per V&H). They do lower the exhaust note to a bit lower tone, which helps. But I was looking for more help, can't take the hammering mid range tone or the crackle and popping of the typical of "dealer installed" reflash of the ECU. So, I added home made lollipops. 2 inch bracket with 1 inch washers. Attached them through the end cap mounting holes (used longer bolts). Result ? Even lower exhaust tone, minimal, exhaust scavenging crackle and pop, and best of all, less mid range pop corn popper hammer your ears tones. At cruising speeds, the bike is very quiet on accel, still has some grunt, on decel, just a nice little burble, reduced the crackle and pop a bunch. Bike still has plenty of punch going through the gears cracked wide open but WAY more pleasant and less fatiguing to ride. So, get yourself some V&H Quiet Baffles and then go to Home Depot and buy what you need to make lollipops ($ 5.00). You will love the result
