Default Stage 1 with stock breather lid on carbed TC88

Hi Folks, I'm new here. Just bought a 2003 Heritage Softail FLSTC carbureted bike. It already has V&H Longshots and a big K&N filter with a big chrome round breather.

The bike runs great. It's smooth all the way through the power band. The previous owner which only had it a short while said that the guy before him said that it has been rejeted for the pipes and filter which I am inclined to believe.

What I am wanting to do is be able to bolt on a stock football breather lid. The filter that is on it is too big for that so, what kind of kit or filter do I need to get?

I've read where the Kuyakyn Street Sleeper II is a good choice but folks are having oil pouring out on the motor problems so, what would be the easiest most reasonable way for me to be able to use a K&N and stock football lid with no oil leaks?

Thanks So Much for a great forum.

I had my Arlen Ness Big Sucker on with the stock football. Fit fine but I went to the Kuryakyn Alley Cat because it looks waaaaayyyy better.

I put on a Big sucker and like it used my stock cover. No oil. Leaks.Zippers makes a a/c set up but it dose not stick out as far as the big sucker and can use stock cover.

Thanks Guys, I was at the local Harley shop in Pigeon Forge the other day. They looked up the correct Screamin Eagle Stage 1 kit for my ride. So I let them order it. It's suppose to be in soon.

Hopefully it will turn out ok.

Thanks Again!
