Drive ratio upgrade HOW TO: Belt Pulleys, Primary sprockets, improve TQ up to 13%
#1051
Job is done and I have not 30/68 ratio instead of 32/66.
The mechanics checked and confirmed that only 30T on the front was not given good adjustment of the belt length.
With the 30/68 it's perfectly done with almost the same setting as the original, so I have some margin.
There is now 0,7 mm between the belt and the guard, so I'm not sure I was able to keep the belt guard If I had to change to 70 T on the rear.
The result of this operation is incredible!
Why Harley don't sell the bikes with such transmission ratio?
I have now to set the speed in my gauge with my DPV but need information, I will read again this thread.
Thanks to all of you for your help.

Hello Crew, Thanks again for all the info here. I have a 2012 FatBob with Stock 32/66 and Stock 1" Belt.
I was hoping to get a 70T on the rear and then later down the road go to the 30 front.
I do have just at 5/8 space from front of axle to forward arch of the adjustment slot, I just wanted to confirm to see if this should still work, from a 32/66 to a 32/70. I have read it about 15 different times, assuming i read it correctly, as long as I have the 5/8ths I am good?
Someone enlighten me if I am missing something.
Thanks
